Save the dates: September 13th and 14th for our 2nd 2013 Conference!
Welcome to the Canadian Association of Ambulatory Care(CAAC) website.
We are the first Ambulatory Care Association established in Canada to enhance practices and education for the delivery of ambulatory patient care. As we all know the underlying principle of Ambulatory Care Medicine is that a significant proportion of inpatients can be managed safely and appropriately on a same day basis without admission to an inpatient hospital bed, and this results in great savings to the healthcare system.
Today's health care environment is ever changing, and ambulatory care providers are expected to provide a high level of care to patients in a very busy and pressured environment. We need to come together to celebrate the high quality of care we provide to our patients and the performance improvement measures we implement to maintain best practices
The CAAC in partnership with Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and Womens College Hospital will be holding our 2nd annual conference on September 13th -14th, 2013 at the Delta Toronto East in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. We are planning an exceptional event with great speakers, poster presentations and educational workshops. This years theme will be Ambulatory Care:The need for alternatives to hospital–based treatments, and is an event not to be missed.
Who should attended: Our conferences are designed for those who provided care across all ambulatory health care settings such as specialty clinics and procedure areas (in or out of an hospital setting) , physician offices, home health care settings and public health. Staff would include, but is not limited to, Patient Care Managers, Operations Directors, CEO’s EVP’s VP’s, Clinical Educators, Advance Practice Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Staff Nurses, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Physicians, Social Workers, and Physical Therapists.
